realism practice - and I am inherently fascinated with Benedict Cumberbatch’s odd-pretty face.

This was an experiment with Chinese caligraphy paper- which I am sad to report is not good with watercolours ( or at least the brand I bought ). To salvage the  drawing I photographed this against white light, which highlighted the textures and shades of the painting pretty nicely. Edited with Photoshop CS5.
